Ecotourism is one promising solution to the destruction of natural environments. For example: In many natural areas, a country will be forced to sell its natural resources and use its environment to support the country. This means that there is little that many countries can do to protect their natural resources.

Local people are trained to act as guides or helpers, which gives them a livelihood dependant on the natural environment around them. Moreover, these people are educated as to the benefits of conserving the ecosystem around them. Ecotourism thus brings forth a symbiotic relationship between the people and the environment.

When visiting the host community try to minimize the number of participant and encourage home stay rather than mass tourism. This also minimizes any potential negative impacts on the environment. It also unsustainable to host a large group of visitors on community-based ecotours, local resources can become extremely constrained by large numbers of visitors.

As Mexico is one of only seven countries with mega diversity, nowadays Mexico is trying to develop in some of its travel destinations a new concept...the Ecotourism. Mexico offers plenty of options for travelers looking for adventure or eager to experience nature.

Since the end of the 80th decade of the twentieth century, ecotourism has been a major force in the tourism industry, with private game reserves being established with the goal of conserving the local ecosystems and helping the struggling local communities to live in harmony with the natural environment available to them.

However, when cooperating with an extremely poor population, whose only means of survival is a dying ecosystem, it is not realistic to insist that they do more to preserve their sensitive environment. An alternative means of income generation, which focuses on maintaining their existing lifestyle while using the ecosystem as an asset, must be developed and implemented.

Kerala is truly a nature lover's paradise with lush tropical evergreen rain forests supporting a rich array of land, marine and avian wildlife. State have many tourist destinations known for their ecotourism and exquisite landscapes which are not only relaxing but also refreshing.

Fostering respect for different cultures and human rights, it directly benefits the economic development and political empowerment of local communities. Ecotourism is an enriching experience for those who would like to research and understand the environment around them.
